Once upon a time there was a woman
who became famous for one reason or another.
It was mostly luck and soon it did not matter why
or if she'd ever had a talent,
though many people still insisted she was a positive
influence on the world.
Sometimes it bothered her that
even she could not recall the thing
which had brought her so much fame and money
and happiness.
She was in the news a lot,
sometimes for scandal and sometimes for everyday reasons.
Eventually the woman became very old and died
famous, rich and happy.
