Once upon a time there was a protester
who glued herself to the ground.
She was immediately arrested and accused
of terrorism. Instead of a solicitor she bought
more glue and somehow managed to
stick herself to the most annoying places,
in cells, in courts, in public.
Eventually the police gave up and said
she was too much trouble to be held.
Then the whole country heard her story and more
and more people began to glue themselves in protest.
And being stuck, they were suddenly able to feel
that the world really was turning.
