Once upon a time there was a boy and a girl
who lived at opposite ends of a universe.
They called each other every day
and promised to visit. The boy
got into his spaceship and flew
into the darkness, travelling faster and faster
past planets and solar systems and whole galaxies.
But the universe kept getting
just a little bit wider, and
the girl was still so far away. Hey,
said the boy into the phone, I don't think
I'll be there on time.
And now it was even too late
to turn back and make it home. It is
so magical, said the girl, just to hear your voice.
